2004 History GH-LCV Dignity in Ebony, presented in very good condition and complete with its original hard case. Built by the renowned Fujigen Gakki factory in Japan, this premium Les Paul Custom-style model was produced exclusively for Shimamura Music and represents one of the finest examples of Japanese guitar craftsmanship from the period.

The GH-LCV is part of the high-end History Dignity series and features a traditional single-cut construction finished in elegant Ebony. One of its most distinctive features is the use of Heritage Wood, reclaimed old-growth timber recovered from the bottom of the Great Lakes in North America. This unique material was incorporated into selected high-end Japanese instruments and is prized for its stability, resonance and historical significance.

At 10.0 lbs, this guitar delivers the strong sustain, rich harmonic content and authoritative voice expected from a premium Les Paul Custom-style instrument. Chords ring with impressive depth and clarity, while single notes retain excellent focus and definition.

A standout feature is Fujigen's innovative Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), a proprietary design that subtly curves the frets to optimise string contact and improve intonation across the fingerboard. The result is enhanced note separation, clearer chord voicings and a more balanced response throughout the neck.

The neck profile is a comfortable slim-to-medium 1960s-style "C" shape, measuring approximately .83" at the 1st fret and .96" at the 12th fret. It feels substantial without being overly large and offers an effortless playing experience across the entire fingerboard.
