1979 Gibson Les Paul KM (Kalamazoo Model) in Cherry Sunburst, presented in very good condition and complete with its original hard case. Produced during the final years of Gibson's historic Kalamazoo factory, the Les Paul KM is one of the more unusual and collectible models from the late 1970s.
Gibson is believed to have produced approximately 1,500 Les Paul KM models, with only the earliest examples featuring the distinctive "Custom Made" plaque found on this guitar. This detail, combined with its Kalamazoo heritage, makes it a particularly interesting example from an important period in Gibson's history.
Built with the substantial feel and sustain associated with late-'70s Les Pauls, this KM delivers the rich midrange, strong projection and unmistakable character that have made vintage Gibsons so enduringly popular.
